Description: Concept Design at Tender Stage 16th April 2018

Project Location: Dart Station Pearse St.

Activity Location: Station Platform and Roof Area

Challenge:

To design a method that would facilitate disassembly and removal of existing high roof elements and installation of new roof structure within fully operational station.

Proposed Method:

3 No. Motorised bogies to carry MEWP, Spider Crane and Materials Transfer.

Bogies to run on gantry rails parallel to centre line of roof.

Crash deck structure to span over station platforms and rail tracks.
